DID YOU KNOW: 117th birth anniversary of Honorata “Atang” de la Rama

Today, Jan. 11, is the 117th birth anniversary of National Artist for Theater and Music Honorata “Atang” de la Rama. Known as the “Queen of Zarzuela and the Kundiman,” she was born in 1902, in Pandacan, Manila. De la Rama was the first Filipino actress to appear in movies.
