11 fake PNR employees caught stealing metals, train parts

MANILA, Philippines — Eleven individuals posing as workers of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) were caught stealing metals and other train components in Cavite, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) said on Thursday.

In a Facebook post, the Department said that PNR Civil Security Office and Incident Response arrested 11 fake workers of the PNR Engineering Department who stole metals and other train parts belonging to the PNR Carmona Spur Line.

DOTr, however, withheld the names of the suspects.
