3 escape fiery death after vehicles burst into flames in Malaysia

MIRI — A pickup truck and a car collided and burst into flames along the Pan Borneo Highway near here on Thursday (Jan 10).

Three people managed to escape in the 1:30 pm accident.

According to the Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department, the collision happened at Bukit Rasau along the Serian-Sri Aman highway route.

The 61-year-old driver of the car and a couple aged in their late 40s were sent to the hospital after they managed to escape their wrecked vehicles before it burst into flames.
