MANILA, Philippines — The Black Nazarene image arrived at the Plaza Santa Cruz at around 1 p.m. on Tuesday as this year’s Traslacion continues.

The sea of devotees attempts to hold on to the rope or ‘lubid’ of the “andas”or carriage carrying the image of the Black Nazarene while some wave white handkerchiefs and try to wipe the venerated image.
