Assailants on motorcycle fatally shoot woman in Pasay

MANILA, Philippines — Two assailants on a motorcycle fatally shot a 28-year-old woman in Pasay City on Saturday.

According to the Southern Police District (SPD), Jackielyn Antonio, 28, was standing beside the Barangay Hall of Barangay 124 in Pasay City, when two still unidentified assailants on a blue Honda Wave motorcycle with no registration plates fired several times at the victim.

They immediately fled.

The woman was taken by her relatives to the Pasay City General Hospital, where she declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.

Eight slugs fired from a .45-caliber pistol were recovered at the crime scene. /atm
