Taho vendor arrested for yielding ‘shabu’ in Marikina buy-bust

MANILA, Philippines — Police arrested a taho vendor in a buy-bust operation in Marikina City on Wednesday.

Operatives of the Marikina City Police Station arrested Francisco Estrada, 42, after transacting with a poseur buyer in Barangay Malanday at about 8:30 p.m.

A police report on Thursday said the undercover agent signaled to other officers of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit after the successful deal.

Police recovered three sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth), P500 cash used in the buy-bust, and a coin purse.

Police said the suspect was detained at the Marikina City Police Station as he faces drug charges. /cbb
