Flood hits Laguna town, power outage affects several areas

SAN PEDRO CITY— Tropical Depression “Usman” on Saturday caused flooding in a town in Laguna while toppled trees resulted in power interruption in several areas.

In Laguna, flood went up as high as three feet in Barangay Batuhan in Famy town, rendering parts of the road temporarily impassable, a report from the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (DRRMC) in Calabarzon.

Some trees toppled by the strong winds also caused power outage in Cavinti town.

In the Mimaropa region, a power outage also hit Marinduque province on Saturday morning.
