Stray bullet injures fisherman in Batangas
MANILA, Philippines — A stray bullet injured a 38-year-old fisherman aboard his boat on Tuesday, the Batangas police said.
In a spot report, the victim was identified as Romeo Piloña, a resident of Purok 5, Barangay Wawa, Batangas City.
According to the report, Piloña was in his boat when he a stray bullet hit him in the body around 2:30 a.m. Christmas Day.

He was immediately brought to Batangas Medical Center for treatment. He is now reportedly n stable condition.
Investigation is ongoing to find out where the bullet came from as well as the identity of the culprit. /kga
