‘System downtime’ hits Cebu Pacific a day before Christmas
MANILA, Philippines – As the public tries their luck to book flights to various local destinations amid the Christmas rush, Cebu Pacific airline announced Monday it is currently experiencing “system downtime.”
In a Facebook post, the airline company said the system glitch is affecting its “booking channels, online check-in and airport operations.”
“We are exerting every effort to restore the system at the soonest time possible. In the meantime, our airport staff are assisting passengers affected by the intermittent system,” Cebu Pacific said.
“Our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience this system downtime has caused,” it added.

“Cebu Pacific is still investigating the cause of the system downtime,” it further said.
