SAN PEDRO CITY – A commuter bus carrying 60 people rammed into the road’s center island before overturning to its side along Aguinaldo highway in Dasmariñas City in Cavite province on Sunday afternoon.

Cavite police director Sr. Supt. William Segun, in a text message, said the bus was bound to Tagaytay City when the accident happened around 2:30 p.m. in Barangay (village) Sampaloc 1.

The Road Safety Division, an office under the provincial government of Cavite, at around 4 p.m. warned motorists about heavy traffic due to the accident.
