ESPERANZA, SULTAN KUDARAT—Two persons were killed and 11 others were injured in a three-vehicle smash up along the national highway here on Thursday evening.
Police regional spokesperson Supt. Aldrin Gonzales said Herson and Gio Matunding, who were heading to Cotabato City on board a Toyota Avanza, were both killed after their vehicle figured in a crash with a Mitsubishi Strada pick-up truck and a six-wheeler Fuso Canter.
Authorities identified those injured as Vincent Mark Bablos, Maria Socias, Benjie Biaca, Marivic Alcano, Marga Quintos, Ken Quintos, Josefina Puentoba, Danny Vicente, Vever Tomandang, Ernesto Gulmatico, and Victoriano Gulmatico.
Rescue workers from Sultan Kudarat provincial rescue units rushed the injured victims to Sultan Kudarat provincial hospital for treatment. /kga
