Suspected leader of Bulacan robbery gang slain

CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan–The suspected leader of a notorious robbery gang was killed on Tuesday (Dec. 18) after he fired at policemen who were serving him an arrest warrant.

The suspect identified as Atet Heroquia engaged the San Jose del Monte police in a brief gunfight when they handed him a warrant of arrest for a charge of assault on persons of authority which took place in May 2005.
