MANILA, Philippines — The tail-end of a cold front will affect the eastern section of Southern Luzon and the Visayas, the weather bureau said on Saturday.
The Bicol region and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms due to the said weather condition, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Pagasa noted that possible flashfloods and landlsides could be expected by residents from the affected areas.
Meanwhile, cloudy skies with light rain will prevail over the Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera Administrative Region and Aurora province due to the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain also caused by the northeast monsoon, Pagasa reported. /muf
