MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road repairs and reblocking starting 11 p.m. on Friday (Dec. 14) until 5 a.m. on Monday (Dec. 17).
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Friday issued an advisory advising motorists to avoid the affected areas:
Southbound:
1.) C-5 Road beside SM Aura (2nd lane from the center)
2.) Edsa — After Scout Borromeo before Network Drive (GMA 7) (outer lane)
3.) Mac Arthur highway in Caloocan City between Calle Cuatro and Calle Uno
Northbound:
4.) Edsa — After Oliveros Street (2nd lane from the sidewalk)
5.) Mindanao Avenue in Valenzuela City – From NLEX to P. Dela Cruz
6.) Batasan Road before Payatas road (2nd lane from the center)
Affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, the MMDA said.
The MMDA also advised motorists to use alternative routes and avoid the affected roads. /muf
