GMA-7 founder, former Rizal Rep. Gilberto Duavit Sr. passes away

MANILA, Philippines — GMA-7 founder and former Rizal province 1st District Representative Gilberto Duavit Sr. has passed away at age 84.
His death was announced on Friday in a report by GMA News Online.

Duavit served as GMA Network’s chairman from 1974 to 1976 and its director in 1977.
Duavit also served as Rizal’s First District Representative in the 9th, 10th, and 11th Congresses. /muf
