LEGAZPI CITY–Three suspected big-time drug pushers were arrested by authorities in a drug raid in this city Thursday morning.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Bicol acting regional director Christian Frivaldo said anti-drugs operatives armed with a search warrant arrested Michael Decano and his sons James and Paul Michael in a raid in their residence in Barangay (village) San Roque around 6 a.m.

Confiscated from them were shabu or crystal meth weighing 27 grams worth P178,000.

Frivaldo said the suspects were considered high-value targets in the PDEA watchlist.

He said the suspects have been the subjects of the government’s anti-drugs crackdown but were able to evade arrest in several operations in the past. MAR S. ARGUELLES
