A magnitude 3.6 earthquake rocked Zambales Wednesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The temblor hit 134 kilometers (km) southwest of San Antonio, Zambales around 2:57 p.m., Philvocs said in its earthquake bulletin.
The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of 44 km.
There were no reported intensities felt in areas where the earthquake hit, Phivolcs noted.
The agency added no aftershocks or damage could be expected from the quake. /kga
