LEGAZPI CITY – Unidentified armed men abducted a woman and hurt her husband in a remote village in Bula town, Camarines Sur around midnight, police said.

Judy Asaula, 47, and her husband Philbert were inside their house when about 10 armed men attacked them in Barangay Paslong, said Chief Insp. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Bicol police.

One of the men shot Philbert, hitting his right hand, while the others took Judy away.

As of Wednesday afternoon, Judy has not yet been found and the police sought the help of the military in conducting a search and pursuit operation against the armed group. Mar S. Arguelles
