Man accused of selling stolen motorcycles killed in Batangas

SAN PEDRO CITY – A man, suspected to be selling stolen motorcycles, was killed in a shootout in Sta. Teresita, Batangas on Wednesday morning.

The police, in a report from the Calabarzon headquarters, identified the slain suspect only by his alias “Billy.”

The report said the shootout happened around 1:45 a.m. in Barangay Antipolo where the police conducted an entrapment operation against alleged motorcycle thieves.

Police went undercover to buy an allegedly stolen motorcycle when Billy drew out a gun and fired shots. Police shot back and hit him while his still unidentified companion escaped.
