LEGAZPI CITY – Unidentified men gunned down a man applying to become a police officer inside his house in Irosin town, Sorsogon province on Tuesday night, police said.
Anthony Gestiada was sleeping inside his house when he was attacked in Sitio Balading, Barangay Sto. Domingo around 9 p.m., said Chief Insp. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson.
Relatives of the victims told the police that they heard one of the gunmen ask Gestiada, a Criminology graduate, if he was applying to join the police force, then they heard several gunshots.
The gunmen immediately fled on board a white van with no plate number. MAR S. ARGUELLES
