4 dead when speeding car rams Bataan house
ORANI, Bataan — A speeding car overshot a sharp curve in Barangay (village) Tugatog and crashed into a house, killing four of its five passengers about 2 a.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 11).
The vehicle was ferrying Aurelio Santiago, Jr. to the Bataan Provincial Hospital in Balanga City for dialysis treatment when they met the accident, according to Chief Insp. Leobaldom Bacon, Orani police chief.
Santiago was killed along with Raymund Tesaluna, Juvy Torres and the driver, Rogelio Santiago, Santiago’s son. The vehicle’s lone survivor, Albert Torres, said they had urged Rogelio to bring his father to a nearer hospital but he insisted on driving to Balanga. GREG REFRACCION
