Suspected drug pusher killed in Cavite shootout

SAN PEDRO CITY — A suspected drug pusher was killed in a buy-bust operation in Tanza town in Cavite province early on Sunday.

A report from the regional police office said that suspect Efren Querubin tried to sell alleged “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P300 to an undercover policeman in Barangay (village) Bagtas around 2 a.m.


But during the buy-bust, the suspect reportedly drew out his gun and began to shoot, forcing the policemen to retaliate.

The suspect died while being taken to the M.V. Santiago hospital in Cavite. /je
