Man stabs dead partner

A 28-YEAR-OLD man stabbed dead his live-in partner before stabbing himself in a violence caused by jealousy.

Police said Alberto Celestia stabbed Bernadette Bagasa, 27, in the chest after they argued inside their house in barangay Bogo, Moalboal town, Cebu, last Sunday afternoon.

After attacking the woman, Celestia also stabbed himself in the chest, said police.

The woman was declared dead at the town’s health center. Celestia was brought to a hospital in Cebu City.

Police said the man was jealous with one of the woman’s relatives.
