1 killed, 4 injured in four-vehicle crash in Manila

A man was killed and four other people were injured in a vehicular accident in Tondo, Manila on Saturday morning.

According to the Manila Police District Traffic Enforcement Unit, the accident happened on Honorio Lopez Boulevard near the corner San Rafael Street at 5:30 a.m.

The vehicles involved in the accident were a Toyota Vios, with plate number R830; a tricycle, with plate number 7908 OE; a Honda motorcycle, with plate number 1303-0568283, and another tricycle, with unspecified plate number.

Police identified Vios driver as Michael Russel Lopez, 25.

It was reportedly his car that hit the tricycle first, followed by two other vehicles.

Felix Pantilagan from Navotas City was killed in the collision.

Rafael Santos, 32, Noberto Trogon, 63, and two minors were injured.

Meanwhile, properties of Ronnie Paltado, 33, and Jobert Ledenio, 42, were damaged. /atm
