White angry birds nip green swaggers
THE WHITE ANGRY Birds defeated the Green Swaggers, 77-72, in the opening game of the first Lorega San Miguel Ball Club (LSMBC) hoopfest last Sunday at the Lorega San Miguel Sports Complex.
Jerome Ypil led the Whites with 26 points, 11 coming from the first period, while teammate Gabriel Olieta chipped in 20 markers.
The Swaggers were led by Vanni Ho with 17 points while Llerin and Jopel Bayarcal added 13 each.

Six teams are currently competing in the tournament.
Today’s match-up will pit the Icons against the Pink Panthers while Talking Tom takes on the Real Steel in the second game./CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
