Top drug suspect in Olongapo nabbed; P500k worth of shabu seized

OLONGAPO CITY —- The police on Wednesday (Dec. 5) seized P567,000 worth of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) from two alleged drug pushers during a police operation.

One of them, Florenio Miclat Jr., 56, a resident of Castillejos town in Zambales province, is at the top of the drug watchlist of the Olongapo City police.


Miclat and Ronnie Cubilla, 40, a resident of Rizal province, were arrested in a 9:45 a.m. drug bust after they sold narcotics to an undercover agent inside a pick-up truck that was parked beside a fast food restaurant in Barangay (village) West Bajac-Bajac here.

Police also recovered 400 grams of the illegal substance which were sealed in 23 sachets.
