4 nabbed in anti-drugs operations in Legazpi City

LEGAZPI CITY – Anti-narcotics operatives arrested four alleged drug pushers and seized from them about P442,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) in separate drug operations here on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Christian Frivaldo, acting director of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Bicol, said operatives with search warrants, swooped down on the houses of the suspects in Barangay Penaranda.

He said Ian Borromeo was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Tuesday. In his possession was 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000.

About 30 minutes later, Ritchie Bambe was arrested with 10 grams of shabu worth P68,000.

Another group of operatives arrested Emmalyn Del Rosario and confiscated from her 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000 at 12:20 a.m.

Del Rosario’s sister Shiela, was also collared in another raid. In her possession was 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000.

Frivaldo said the four suspects were members of the San Roque-Penaranda drug group operating in the city and were high-value targets.
