29 die in Bulacan anticrime drive in October, November
CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – Twenty-nine crime suspects were killed in Bulacan province while some 400 were arrested in police operations conducted in October and November, according to Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan, police director.
Killed in a 2:30 p.m. shootout on Nov. 26 in Bulakan town was suspect Alejandro Reyes following a drug bust. Earlier on Nov. 25, police shot dead a suspect identified only Totoy Baba and a still unidentified accomplice during an 11 p.m. police operation in Angat town.
At 2:45 am on November 23, Quezon City resident Anthony Eric Calonge was killed in the City of San Jose del Monte.
On November 22 in Barangay (village) Maguinao in the same city, brothers Alberto and Angelo Dela Cruz were killed in a 6 a.m. police operation.
On Nov. 21 in Barangay Bayugo, the police shot dead Jovan Magtanong and Alvin Sape at 2:45 a.m. in the City of Meycauayan, while Jayson Sarte was killed in San Jose del Monte. At 11 p.m. on the same day, police killed Rizaldy Peregrino in Pandi town.
On November 14 in Pulilan town, former security guard and murder suspect Jerson Sta. Rita was killed in Malolos City.
At 11 p.m. on November 13, Joseph Eralp Martin, 22, clashed with the police and was killed in San Jose Del Monte while Roberto Macatangay was shot dead at about 9 p.m. on the same day in Barangay Longos in Malolos.
Levi De Leon was killed at about 2:30 a.m. in Pandi town on November 10.
At about 8:35 p.m. on November 5 in San Jose del Monte, Joseph Estera, suspected gun-for-hire Christian Dalupan, and a suspect identified only as Betong were killed in a shootout with the police.
A suspect identified as “Tatang” was killed by the police on November 3 at 11:05 p.m. in San Jose Del Monte, while Joseph Paul Imena, 33, was shot dead at about 1:30 a.m. on November 1 in Barangay Pandayan at Meycauayan.
On October 30 in Barangay Gaya-gaya, San Jose del Monte, a certain Noel was killed in a police sting operation at about 10:30 p.m.
In San Jose del Monte on October 26, police clashed with suspects named Jun and Bilog who were killed. On the same day in Pandi town, police killed a suspect identified as Dodong.
At 1:05 a.m. on October 24 in Baliwag town, Ian Apayo, 34, was shot dead by the police while a suspect named Boyong was killed at about 1:10 a.m. in San Rafael town.
On October 23, suspect Ruel Letchido was killed in Bocaue town during a 12:25 a.m. police operation.
On October 22 in Sta. Maria town, Noel Silvestre, 49, and two suspects identified as Richard and Niño were killed during a 9:20 p.m. drug bust. /cbb
