NLEX: Stalled truck causes traffic at Meycauayan tailend
The North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Corporation on Thursday announced that a stalled truck caused a traffic at Meycauayan tailend.
In a statement on Twitter, NLEX said the stalled container truck with “heavy load” at C-3 Caloocan is causing the traffic congestion.

Earlier, Meycauayan, Marilao, and Valenzuela southbound entries were temporarily closed at 7 p.m.
Micah Aquino, a staff from NLEX, said the two southbound entries are passable as of 9:30 p.m. She added that the traffic tailend is at Meycauayan. Ten minutes later, the Valenzuela southbound entry was also passable for motorists.
NLEX Corp’s assistant vice president for Corporate Communications Kit Ventura told INQUIRER.net that the truck was carrying tiles.

“Since [nasa] NLEX na nga, tumulong na kami since affected na kami ng sobra. Ongoing recovery po siya. Kailangan ng crane para siya matanggal dun sa place niya,” Aquino told INQUIRER.net.
NLEX also apologized for the inconvenience and asked motorists to take alternative routes. /muf
