Businessman gunned down outside Subic hotel

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — An unidentified motocycle-riding gunman shot dead a businessman outside a hotel here on Wednesday night.

Dominic Sytin was killed outside the Lighthouse Hotel at 7:49 p.m.

Sytin was the founder and chief executive officer of United Auctioneers Inc., an industrial auction company based here. He was also a part owner of the ACEA Subic Bay resort.

Another person was reported injured in the incident.

Police have yet to establish the motive behind the killing. /kga
