Agusan del Norte vice mayor nabbed for ‘shabu’ worth P708K
Police arrested a vice mayor in Agusan del Norte on Wednesday after he yielded suspected “shabu” worth P708,000.
Vice Mayor Glecerio Monton of Jabonga town was arrested in his house in Barangay Poblacion in an operation launched by the local police, a police report said.
Monton yielded 60 grams of suspected illegal drugs and a hand grenade.
The suspect and confiscated evidence were taken to the Jabonga Municipal Police Station for disposition.
