Trump says he looked like Elvis Presley — but the people don’t agree
Many seemed not to agree when United States President Donald Trump told the audience during his campaign rally in Tupelo, Mississippi today, Nov. 27 (Nov. 26 in the United States) that he looked like the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley, when he was younger.
The remark has since been shared all over social media, on Twitter primarily, with many users apparently unconvinced over the President’s claims.
“Trump says that when he was growing up, people said he looked like Elvis aside from his blonde hair,” tweeted Daniel Dale, a Washington correspondent for the Toronto Star, on Nov. 26.

It did not take long until Twitter users, in disbelief, clapped back at Trump and refuted his claims.

Yeah, they’re exactly the same person.”
Bill Palmer of political blog Palmer Report, on his end, was also unconvinced by Trump’s resemblance, or lack thereof, with the rock icon.
“Donald Trump just said during his Tupelo rally that he’s often been compared to Elvis. Only in the sense that Elvis has left the building.”

“‘Other than the blond hair, when I was growing up they said I look like Elvis,’ Trump bragged,” tweeted “Star Trek” actor George Takei. “Right. And other than the haircut, when I was fully grown I looked like John Lennon. Or was that Yoko?”

Right. And other than the haircut, when I was fully grown I looked like John Lennon.
Or was that Yoko?

Meanwhile, one Twitter account (@OneAWeekYall) shared a picture of an older, heavier Presley edited with blonde hair and yellow, sallow skin.
“Trump claims he looked like Elvis growing up and that is true,” the account wrote. “Except he was fat, ginger and side stepped his military obligations. Other than that identical twins. #disillusion2018.”

Does Trump look like Elvis Presley or does he not? That is the question. JB
