NAIA bars flight of light aircrafts due to fog

MANILA, Philippines – Light airplanes were barred from flight Monday morning at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport due to the thick fog blanketing the metropolis, a 990AM report said.

The report said that the airport’s traffic control center suspended light airplanes’ flights at around 7 a.m. because of poor visibility.

Meanwhile, operations of commercial airlines have not been hampered by the fog, the report added.
