DID YOU KNOW: 9,493 bus accidents recorded in NCR in 8 months

According to latest data from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, there were 9,493 buses involved in road crashes in the National Capital Region from January to August 2018.

Of the total, 59 incidents resulted in deaths, 717 caused nonfatal injuries, while 8,717 resulted in damage to property. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
