2 domestic flights canceled due to ‘Samuel’

The Manila International Airport Authorities (Miaa) on Monday said two domestic flights were canceled due to Tropical Depression “Samuel.”

The Miaa said that as of 6:44 p.m., the following flights were canceled due to inclement weather.

In a separate advisory, the state weather bureau said that Samuel was last spotted at 505 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur as of 4 p.m.

It has a maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness up to 65 kph.

It is moving towards the northwest at a speed of 25 kph.

Samuel is expected to make a landfall over the Eastern Visayas-Caraga area on Tuesday afternoon or evening. /ee
