/ 11:38 AM November 19, 2018

The Supreme Court has suspended work in all courts in Manila on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, for the state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio suspended work at the SC, Court of Appeals and lower courts in Manila upon the recommendation of the Office of the Administrator (OCA).

The OCA made the recommendation after Mayor Joseph Estrada suspended work and classes in Manila.

Included in President Xi’s visit are a meeting with President Rodrigo Duterte in Malacañang and a wreath-laying ceremony in the monument of the country’s national hero, Jose Rizal, in Luneta Park. /cbb
