4 drugs suspects nabbed in Quezon City buy-bust operation

Four drug suspects were arrested on Tuesday night during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Paesa, Quezon City.

The Quezon City Police District identified the suspects as Jocelyn Verzosa, 46; Zenaida Verzosa , 44; Carolina Delos Reyes, 51; and Rene Boy Brutas, 31, all residents of Brgy. Baesa in Quezon City.

The operation took place around 9 p.m. Tuesday in Sitio Pajo in Brgy. Baesa, according to the police report.

Police said they have seized five sachets of suspected shabu worth P6,000 from the suspects, alongside a weighing scale and P500 marked money used in the bust.

Police said the four suspects are currently detained at the Masambong Police Station.

The suspects are facing inquest proceedings for violating Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, particularly for selling and possessing illegal drugs. /je
