Arrested drug pusher in Albay yields P680K worth of shabu

LEGAZPI CITY – Anti-drug drug operatives seized some P680,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) from an alleged illegal drug pusher who was arrested in Daraga, Albay early Wednesday, police said.

Police said Jed Lolo, 35, married of Barangay Sagpon, Daraga, was nabbed by joint elements of the Daraga police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) after selling suspected shabu to an undercover police officer in front of the Barangay Hall in Purok 3, Barangay Binitayan at around 3:30 a.m.

Bicol police spokesperson Chief Insp. Maria Luisa Calubaquib said Lolo yielded a plastic sachet containing 100 grams of suspected shabu with a street value of P680,000.

Meanwhile, Cotton Talento, spokesperson of PDEA Bicol, said Lolo is included in the PDEA watch list of high-value targets operating in the town of Daraga and Legazpi City. /muf
