The Civil Service Commission (CSC) already signed a favorable recommendation for Nicanor Faeldon in preparation for his assumption of the post as head of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).

“Civil Service Chair Alicia dela Rosa-Bala has informed me by phone this morning that she has signed a favorable recommendation for Nicanor Faeldon as Bureau of Corrections director general. Recommendation to be sent to the Palace,” Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra told reporters.

A clearance from the CSC is required before Faeldon can assume his new position.
