The slightly lower satisfaction rating over the government’s drug war won’t affect the campaign against illegal drugs, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Director Chief Supt. Guillermo Eleazar said on Friday.
According to a survey by the Social Weather Stations (SWS) the net satisfaction rating over the government’s crackdown against illegal drugs has slightly decreased from +65 to +64 in the third quarter of 2018, but remained very good.
“’Yung kaunting pagbaba na sinasabi natin compared to the previous period or quarter, that should not mean anything in so far as our campaign is concerned,” Eleazar told DZIQ.
According to Eleazar, the Philippine National Police remains steadfast in pushing for the campaign to “once and for all lessen or put an end” to the trade.
He also said that the survey questions could be subjective.
“Hindi po iyan makakaapekto sa ating relentless campaign against this menace in our society at patuloy nating hinihimok ang lahat na magsama-sama (against illegal drugs),” he said. /muf
