Still no signs of Arroyo leaving St. Luke’s Medical Center

/ 02:21 PM December 04, 2011

MANILA, Philippines—As of 12:45 noon Sunday, there were no signs of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo leaving the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Global City in Taguig.

Earlier, her lawyer, Ferdinand Topacio, said that the now-Pampanga congresswoman was already making preparations for her impending transfer to the Veterans Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City.

Security remains rather lax at the hospital, with only a few security guards deployed in the area and no policeman in sight near the hospital entrance.

It is raining as of this moment in Global City.
