Over P300K worth of ‘shabu’ seized from suspected drug pusher in Albay
LEGAZPI CITY – Government drug agents confiscated suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P340,000 from an alleged drug pusher in a raid on Wednesday night in this city.
Allen Aguilar, alias “Choy,” 38, was arrested by Philippine Drug Enforcement Authority (PDEA) operatives in a drug raid at his residence at Purok (zone) 4 of Barangay (village) Oro Site at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday, Cotton Talento, PDEA Bicol spokesperson, said.
PDEA operatives armed with a search warrant swooped down on the suspect’s house and recovered from his possession 50 grams of suspected shabu worth about P340,000.
The raiding team also discovered that the suspect’s house was used as an illegal drug den, Talento said.
Talento in a phone interview said the drug raid was prompted by complaints they received from villagers who also informed them of people from other places visiting the house to either buy or hold a drug session there.
She said the suspect was a drug surrenderer and undergoing community-based drug rehabilitation. Aguilar was considered a high-value target drug pusher operating in this city.
