DID YOU KNOW: 2,234 youths diagnosed with HIV January to August 2018

According to latest data from the Department of Health, a total of 2,234 Filipino youth aged 15 to 24 years old were diagnosed with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from January to August 2018.

In August alone, 309 people in this age range were diagnosed with HIV. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
