Authorities have confiscated beer and drug paraphernalia from four detainees at the Kamuning Police Station of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD).

The QCPD on Wednesday said a certain Gio Lusing visited Irish Michaela Padilla, 30, who is detained at the police station on Tuesday.  Lusing apparently gave Padilla two bottles of supposed “iced tea.”

However, a jail officer noticed that the seal of the caps were already broken, prompting him to check the contents of the said bottle.  Upon inspection, authorities found out that the plastic bottle contained beer, while drug paraphernalia and traces of shabu were inside a separate food container.

Police said Padilla and her fellow inmates Ruth Palos, 56; Camille Gonzales, 28; and Baby Jane Angustia, 26, all from Barangay Pinyahan in Quezon City, admitted that the seized contraband were for them.
