Woman, mother found dead inside home in Camarines Sur

PILI, Camarines Sur – Policemen were conducting hot pursuit operations to locate the husband who killed his wife and her mother in Bula town, Camarines Sur on Tuesday, police said.

The bloodied bodies of Noemi Cariaga, 40, and her mother Florencia Antioquia, 80, were found inside their home in Barangay Sagrada around 7 a.m., said a report from the Camarines Sur police.

According to the police, the two may have been hit by a lumber repeatedly on the head, which caused their deaths.

Police have identified the suspect as Joey Cariaga, 43, husband of Noemi after their 13-year-old son pointed at him as the killer.
