DAGUPAN CITY — Death came swiftly to a 64-year old farmer who was taking his afternoon nap at his San Carlos City, Pangasinan, home on Tuesday, according to a police report.
Ernesto Bugayong was on a bamboo bed outside his house in Barangay (village) Maliwara when two men rode up in a motorcycle, walked up to him and shot him multiple times.
Bugayong was shot five times judging by the bullet casings found at the crime scene.
The police have yet to determine why the farmer was murdered. /cbb
