PRC releases results of Physician Licensure Examination

A graduate of the De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute in Dasmariñas, Cavite emerged as topnotcher among the 3,717 out of 4,542 who passed the Physician Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Tuesday.

Kurl Eduvas Jamora ranked first with a 91.08 percent rating, followed by Martin Angelo Zanoria from the Cebu Institute of Medicine with a score of 90.92 percent.

Roy Christopher Ang from Saint Louis University shared the third spot with Ernest Paggabao from the University of Santo Tomas – both of them with a score of 90.58 percent.

Meanwhile, the Cebu Institute of Medicine ranked as the top performing school with a passing rate of 99.33 percent while the University of Santo Tomas was at second place with a 98.71 percent passing rate.

The results of the examination were released five working days after the last day of the exam.

It was administered by the Board of Medicine in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu and Davao in September 2018. /atm
