‘Salvage’ victim found in an irrigation canal in Isabela

QUEZON, Isabela — The body of a man believed to have been summarily executed was discovered on Monday (Nov. 5) in Alunan village here, a belated police report says.

Senior Supt. Mariano Rodriguez, Isabela police director, described the unidentified man as having a large-build, and wearing a yellow t-shirt and a pair of yellow short pants.

The remains, which bore bullet wounds, were in an advanced state of decomposition.

Forensic investigators believe the man was killed elsewhere and dumped at the canal.
