MPD to implement traffic reroute plan for 2018 Bar exams

The Traffic Enforcement Unit of the Manila Police Department has released its traffic rerouting plan to be implemented during the the four Sundays of this year’s Bar examinations at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila.

According to the rerouting plan, the westbound lane of España Boulevard will be closed to traffic during the examination days

Authorities said that the road closure would be in effect from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. The Bar examinations start at 8 a.m. to noon and resume at 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The MPD has advised the public to take alternative routes and avoid the vicinity of UST during the Bar examination days.

According to the rerouting plan, vehicles on to the westbound lane of España, will turn right to A.H. Lacson, then make a left to Laong Laan to A. Mendoza route to their destination.

Meanwhile, those coming from the southbound lane of A.H. Lacson will go straight to Nagtahan to their destination.

The MPD also reminded motorists that the vicinity of UST are no parking zones during the examination dates on Nov. 4, 11, 18, and 25.  /muf
