Over 85K people arrive at Manila North Cemetery by midday Nov 2

More than 85,000 individuals have entered the Manila North Cemetery by midday Friday, All Souls’ Day, data of the Manila Police District showed.

As of 1 p.m., the MPD said it has not received any report of untoward incident in the area but has so far confiscated many prohibited items, including cologne, cigarettes, and scissors, from cemetery visitors.

All seized prohibited items were being left with authorities at the entrance of the cemetery. /kga
